Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Nesto Camera Health (the "Service"), operated by Nesto Limited, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Nesto Camera Health is a device health and activity monitoring tool for compatible Ring cameras and doorbells. The Service provides device availability awareness, activity summaries, and health signals to help users understand whether their devices are online and active.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Account Linking and Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with Ring through Ring's official OAuth authorization mechanism. By linking your Ring account, you authorize us to receive device status and activity event metadata as permitted by Ring's platform. Your use of Ring devices and Ring's services remains subject to Ring's own terms and availability. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations
- Obtaining any necessary consents from individuals who may be affected by your use of the Service
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service in a manner that infringes on the rights of others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Service Limitations
The Service provides device health and activity awareness only. It does not provide emergency response, professional monitoring, security guarantees, or device repair services. Device health signals are informational and may not reflect real-time conditions. Users should not rely on the Service as a substitute for direct device management through the Ring app or professional security systems.
No Security Guarantee
The Service does not guarantee the security of your property, devices, or premises. It does not detect intrusions, prevent crime, or provide emergency alerts. It is a device health awareness tool only.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Nesto Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that health signals will be delivered in real time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nesto Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
If you remove Nesto Camera Health from your Ring account or your subscription ends, your data is retained for 90 days to allow reactivation. After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention and deletion.
Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles.
